New Cottage Arts

Performance Lab is a creative music and performance class where students work together to create, rehearse, and share a short group performance. Students will explore rhythm, voice, movement, storytelling, teamwork, stage presence, and creative expression in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Each class will include a short grounding activity, warm-ups, skill-building exercises, collaborative creation, rehearsal time, and reflection. Students will learn how performers prepare for the stage, support one another, listen as an ensemble, and build confidence through creative practice.
The program is designed for a range of experience levels. No prior music or performance experience is required. Students will have opportunities to contribute through singing, rhythm, movement, spoken word, acting, simple instruments, or other creative roles depending on the needs and interests of the group.
