ELCSports - Adjusted FeeELCSports is Denver Public Schools' elementary athletics program providing 4th and 5th graders an opportunity to play Basketball for their school this Winter/Spring 2026. With a focus on development, ELCSports prepares students for Middle School athletics in a community-based environment. Teams will practice at their own schools and play other elementary schools in a region-based league. Adjusted Fee Rate: Schools with an FRL rate of 75% and higher will qualify for the ELCSports adjusted rate of $35 to help reduce financial barriers Registration Process: Basketball registration opens HERE on 1/12/26 at 6am and closes 1/21/26 at Noon - Only participating schools will be shown available in registration. Once registration closes, schools that have met the minimum number but not exceeded the maximum number, will be notified of team placement and payment will be charged at that time. If a school has exceeded the maximum number of students registered per team, ELCSports Admin will collaborate with School leaders to complete a student selection process. Families will be notified of those results by 1/26/26. Payment Plan Process: Whether you pay in full or choose a payment plan, payment will not be charged until your student has been officially placed on a team by ELCSports. This will occur between 1/21/26 - 1/23/26. The first payment charged will be $8.75 The payment schedule will continue to charge $8.75 on 2/15, 3/15, and 4/15. ELCSports Summer CampStudent-athletes will learn and grow fundamental skills in basketball, soccer, flag football, along with other sports in a block-rotation setting! Every week, ELCSports will provide opportunities to build leadership skills within weekly teambuilding and challenges. There will be off-site field trip adventures, swimming, and exciting community-based activities throughout the summer! Grades: Rising 3rd grade through 6th grade Dates: 6/8/26 - 7/24/26. No camp on 6/19.
