Journalism Club at Steck

Extra! Extra! Journalism Club is back! Calling all 4th and 5th grade writers who love storytelling and reporting the news! Join us on Mondays from 2:40-3:40 as we dive into the world of journalism. This year, our club will focus exclusively on crafting written articles—from investigative pieces to feature stories and everything in between. Students should have a foundational love of writing and journalism, as we'll be developing real reporting skills together. Please note: Students must bring their own snack, and some assignments may require outside time to complete interviews, research, or final drafts. If your child is ready to see their words in print and tell the stories that matter, we'd love to have them on our team!
