KidStage

THE LION KING at Carson Elementary

Since 1999, KidStage has brought exciting performance opportunities, acting classes, and theater games directly to schools. Our proven curriculum builds confidence, teamwork, concentration, and reading and language skills while introducing students to movement, voice, and theater terminology. Each session ends with a performance for family and friends!

Follow Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumba, and a colorful cast of animals on an unforgettable adventure! When Scar takes control of the Pride Lands, Simba must discover his courage and return to reclaim his kingdom.
Students will have a blast bringing this coming-of-age story to life while learning about courage, friendship, and working together.

What families should know:
• Classes meet for 90 minutes after school on Mondays
• Auditions take place during the second week of class. Every registered student will be cast in a speaking role.
• Families must print the script, and students should bring it to class each week.
• Students must practice their lines and cues outside of class.
• A prop and suggested costume list will be emailed to families. Most items can typically be found at home.
Final Performance: Monday, February 22, 2027, at 4:30 p.m. in the Carson Auditorium.
