Get Wyld in Winter: Animals & Landscapes

The adventure continues! Young artists will carry their wild creativity into a new collection of animal and landscape-inspired art projects. This course brings together the creatures that call the wild home and the snowy, colorful places where their stories unfold.

We’ll begin our wild adventures with Sock Stuffie Snowmen and adorable Baby Snow Owls, then journey into landscapes with a Winter Neighborhood Collage and vibrant Perspective Paintings inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. Artists will explore how animals and environments can work together to create a sense of place, story, and imagination.

Students will experiment with color, texture, layering, shape, and perspective, discovering how overlapping objects, changing sizes, and thoughtful placement can create depth and bring their artwork to life. Each project offers opportunities to make creative choices, experiment with materials, and put their unique stamp on the final piece.
