Minecraft Coding and Design Studio

Description: Minecraft isn't just the world's most popular game; it's also an excellent tool for teaching a wide array of subjects. At Athena, we've developed a project based approach to a variety of important topics using Minecraft Educational; our course will cover Personalized Game Design, Animation and storytelling, Programming in Python and Javascript, Architecture and design, The fundamentals of electrical circuitry using Minecraft's patented Redstone circuit system, Logic gates, multi-system mechanisms, Modding and more! At the end of this course, students take home a 3D printed design. Laptop, iPad, or Chromebook required. Rentals can be provided for a $40 fee.
