Dive into the culture and exploration of clay! Each student will create their unique imprint and how to connect with the magic of clay. Students will explore the power of hand-building with Colorado Clay delving into many hand building techniques to form their very own creations from their imagination. Students can explore building forms independently, or build a creation led by the teacher. We will learn to use tools, make textures in the clay, and how to connect pieces together to build creations. Through imagination and the honoring of the clay, students will develop their own personal style. Students will also paint their creations after they are fired. The fee includes all materials and firing costs.
