While exploring these topics, students will experience fresh flavors and ingredients first hand as they gain confidence expressing their creativity in the kitchen! By chopping, measuring, tasting, and mixing, your child will become more empowered and inspired by their relationship to food. These educational and stimulating classes leave more than full bellies and smiling faces in their wake, they create self-assured young chefs with lifelong eating habits that are healthy and informed. Student-athletes will join the coaches after school, ready to play so we can max the soccer fun for each session. Soccer balls will be provided ("flat-soled" shoes and shin guards recommended, water, snack recommended, water bottle required). The program will focus on fun, beginner to intermediate level skills work, small-sided street soccer games and STEAM activities led by qualified guest partners, coaches and teachers. All activities are co-developed and facilitated by experienced player-coaches and teachers.
