SmithELCSports is the Elementary Athletics Program for Denver Public Schools. Serving all 80+ Elementary schools, our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and developmental athletics experience to students and families. Smith Elementary is excited to participate in the ELCSports Fall season with our flag football Team led by Coach Mychal Deas. Practice will be held on Tuesday from 3:30-5:00pm starting on 9/22 Dates and times indicated on registration are for practice only. Game schedules will be published on 9/15 and communicated through Thrillshare Rooms. Registration will open at 6:00 AM on 9/2 and close at 12:00 PM on 9/9 **Students must be registered for the school they are enrolled in for SY 26/27. We will be introducing circus skills such as juggling, diablo, spinning plates, tightwire walking, stilts, hula-hoops, and plenty more in this course! Attendance without an advance reservation depends on available space, staffing and site approval. 🚗 Late Pickup Fees Many programs close at 6:00 PM; please see a list of complete programming times offered on our Website under "Our Programming." A late pickup fee of $1 per minute, per family will be charged beginning at 6:01 PM. ⏰ The 4:00 PM Deadline Attendance days must be added or removed by 4:00 PM on the business day before care. Families are responsible for all days reserved on their student’s calendar. To avoid being charged, remove a reserved day before the deadline when your student will not attend. Deadline Examples Use the previous DPS business day when managing your calendar. Care on Tuesday Add or remove the day by Monday at 4:00 PM. Care on Monday Add or remove the day by Friday at 4:00 PM.
