McKinley-ThatcherELCSports - Standard FeeELCSports is Denver Public Schools' elementary athletics program providing 4th and 5th graders an opportunity to play Flag Football or Soccer for their school this Fall. With a focus on development, ELCSports prepares students for Middle School athletics in a community-based environment. Teams will practice at their own schools and play other elementary schools in a region-based league. Standard Fee Rate: $50 per student. This can be paid in full or in a payment plan (see below Payment Plan Process). Registration Process: Fall Sports registration opens HERE on 8/29/25 at 6am and closes 9/8/25 at Noon - Only participating schools will be shown available in registration. Once registration closes, schools that have met the minimum number but not exceeded the maximum number, will be notified of team placement and payment will be charged at that time. If a school has exceeded the maximum number of students registered per team, ELCSports Admin will collaborate with School leaders to complete a student selection process. Families will be notified of those results by 9/10/25. Payment Plan Process: Whether you pay in full or choose a payment plan, payment will not be charged until your student has been officially placed on a team by ELCSports. This will occur between 9/8/25-9/10/25. The first payment charged will be $12.50. The payment schedule will continue to charge $12.50 on 9/15, 10/15, and 11/15. Enrichment activities run during the first hour after school, seamlessly complementing Discovery Link programming. Our classes are geared towards kids entering kindergarten up through 5th grade. We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our amazing instructors provide your child with encouragement to build self- esteem, movement to get and keep them healthy, fun games that teach sports skills, sportsmanship. Movement Madness is fun, filled with exercise and laughter with new and old friends. We run, jump, throw balls, kick balls, hit balls, catch balls and much more during an hour class!
