Craftsman and apprentice-Club Craftsman
Club Craftsman invites kids to dive into creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on exploration. Inspired by the Craftsman & Apprentice approach, this program provides a welcoming space where students use real tools and materials to bring their ideas to life. From woodworking and sewing to recycled art and toy building, each session introduces new techniques while encouraging experimentation and self-expression. Students will practice essential maker skills: problem solving, collaboration, design thinking, and resilience. Each week features a guided project, such as building moving things, crafting with natural materials, or inventing simple games. Kids are also free to explore their own ideas, working independently or with peers. With a focus on process over perfection, the club helps students gain confidence, develop fine motor skills, and learn how to care for tools and materials responsibly. Reflection and sharing at the end of sessions allow kids to celebrate successes, troubleshoot challenges, and learn from each other.
