Science SamplerExperience a sampling of different science themes each week! Become an inventor and build your own circuit to send messages in Morse Code, become a geologist and go gemstone mining, and become a chemist as you create oozy glowing slime and other crazy chemistry concoctions! Slime TimeCalling all slimeologists! Prepare to get elbow deep in gooey fun as we enter the world of polymer chemistry and make different slime creations each week. You’ll make amazing color changing slime, textured slime with growing orbs, and chalkboard slime that you can draw on!

Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to thestudents of Centennial. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what ittakes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction tothe modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals offencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will providelightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for youngchildren first learning the sport. Come join us for this exciting form ofphysical and mental exercise!

Teaching mindfulness to youth can create calm, level headed future leaders but who says we can’t have fun while doing it? This supportive introduction to Yoga and Mindfulness is designed for kids in grades PreK-12th. Participants enjoy access to fun, engaging classes that teach the basics of good health habits, mindful awareness, and positive perceptions. Through this session, participants practice breathing exercises, yoga poses, visualizations, relaxation activities, and we couldn’t call it fun without games! Our educated instructors teach resilience, empowering students through the toughest and most mundane experiences in life. Mats are not provided.

Our professional chef instructors guide kid chefs by providing safe, entertaining, hands-on learning throughout the class, but it’s the kid chefs who do the prepping and cooking! Our class sessions are a BLAST for all ages! When kids get to touch the ingredients and have a hand in creating their food, they’re much more willing to try new foods. We provide all of the tools, ingredients and instruction needed to cook up a delicious, healthy and hearty after-school snack each week.

Sculpt, slab, coil, and carve... roll up your sleeves, because this class is all clay, all the time! We’ll sculpt silly puppies, fuzzy hedgehogs, a chocolate layer cake that looks good enough to eat, and more. This is your chance to use tons of air-dry clay, Model Magic®, and so much more as you have a totally claylicious time!
