Colorado Archery- Intro to Archery and Competitive Shooting Course
The Colorado Archery Academy promotes instruction in international-style target archery as part of in-school curriculum, to improve educational performance and participation for students in grades 3rd-8th. Archery is an activity that doesn’t discriminate based on popularity, athletic skill, gender, size, or academic ability. All of our students receive a basic archery certification at the end our course and all courses are taught by a licensed archery instructor. -
Denver Fencing Foundation
Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to thestudents of Polaris. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what ittakes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction tothe modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals offencing in a safe and fun environment. Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual game play. -
Omniform- Karate
Omniform is martial art that develops the mind, body and the character of the student. It's a blend of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing and Yoga. The intention of the training is to empower the student to consciously and deliberately develop his or her own unique power - a power of self-confidence, strength and leadership that attracts positive experiences around them. We welcome students with no martial arts experience as well as students with previous experience. City Strings- Pottery Handbuilding with Clay
Dive into the culture and exploration of clay with artist and educator Cal Duran. Each student will create their own unique imprint and how to connect with the magic of clay. Students will explore the power of hand-building with Red Rock Colorado Clay delving into many hand building techniques to form their very own creations from their imagination. Students can explore building forms on their own, or build a creation led by the teacher. Through imagination and the honoring of the architecture of our ancestors, students will develop their own personal style. Students will also paint their creations after they are fired.The fees include the cost of all materials and firing. -
Sticky Fingers- COOL'inary Cooking
Our professional chef instructors guide kid chefs by providing safe, entertaining, hands-on learning throughout the class, but it’s the kid chefs who do the prepping and cooking! Our class sessions are a BLAST for all ages! When kids get to touch the ingredients and have a hand in creating their food, they’re much more willing to try new foods. We provide all of the tools, ingredients and instruction needed to cook up a delicious, healthy and hearty after-school snack each week. -
Nexplore - Polaris
Students experience the worlds of flight firsthand through drone piloting. Throughout the course, students complete a series of creative challenges, developing their abilities to steer and control the drone at different speeds as they complete trick flight shows, deliveries, and even rescue missions. Students learn about mechanical components of drones through troubleshooting and maintenance exercises. By combining science and art, this course cultivates a strong STEAM foundation in students! -

Kids need to get moving and that is what we do at Movement Madness. Our classes are geared towards kids entering kindergarten up through 5th grade. We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our amazing instructors provide your child with encouragement to build self- esteem, movement to get and keep them healthy, fun games that teach sports skills, sportsmanship. Movement Madness is fun, filled with exercise and laughter with new and old friends. We run, jump, throw balls, kick balls, hit balls, catch balls and much more during an hour class! Games and activities change weekly and we provide an hour of non stop motion! -

Students will design, code and play their own 3D worlds with Roblox Studio! Students code using the programming language Lua which is currently the leading scripting language used in games. Roblox s special version of this language Roblox Lua, enhances the experience as students manipulate environments and program while having fun. From Obbies (obstacle courses) to creating Simulator Games, our Roblox Studio Code classes allow kids to publish the games they make showing friends why Roblox Lua is so awesome!
