Adventures in Art's pottery classes give students hands on experience with the magical medium of clay. We will explore many aspects of pottery-making: hand-building, coil- building, working with slabs, clay additions, decorating, glazing and more. Floor hockey is a fast-paced, action-packed sport that helps kids develop coordination, teamwork, and leadership skills and Amazing Athletes JumpBunch is thrilled to bring this popular program to Steele Elementary for the very first time! Whether your child is new to the game or has some experience, this program is designed to teach the basics while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. Players will learn the foundational skills of floor hockey, such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic defensive techniques all while understanding the importance of working together and being respectful in and out of the gym.

Discover, create, and explore! In this engaging art class, students will learn to express themselves through a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media. Each week students will explore new techniques while connecting art to personal stories and cultural themes. Lessons focus on creativity, collaboration, and self-expression. 1 scholarship awarded for every 10 paid students registered.

Each week our instructor will lead young artists to create a new piece of artwork using process based art exploration that gives an opportunity for self expression, critical thinking, problem solving and FUN! 1 scholarship awarded once 6 students register

Description: Our unique project-based class is designed to allow young students to develop their creative storytelling or game designing abilities, and then gives them the opportunity to bring them to life through Scratch and Python. Students have a blast, create App Store caliber games like Flappy Bird, and learn plenty of professional programming practices, like how to use Binary operators, Conditional statements, Sequencing, Functions, Variables, Commenting practices, and Loops. Computer, iPad, or Chromebook required. Computer rentals can be provided for a $40 fee.

Our program teaches participants how to draw manga, anime and cartoon style themes and techniques. Participants will learn the Japanese culture through fun crafts, activities, and games.
