    Learn how to take awesome photos from a professional music photographer! Students will learn beginner, intermediate, and even advanced techniques using the cameras they have, whether DSLR, iPhones, or those cute little plastic cameras that have built in games. And not only will they get to make their friends walk up walls, but we'll print out their photos on 4x6 postcards to take home!
  • City Strings - Ukulele & Songwriting

    In this class, your child will be taught how to play the ukulele, while singing songs and playing games to teach music and listening. They will all listen to each other as an ensemble and write original songs. Over the years, students in music classes, be they beginners or advanced, are engaged in the act of self-expression and songwriting, and this is often as fun (for some, if not more fun) than playing their instruments! For the younger students, they can draw, write, and/or have a teacher scribe for them. Each student finds joy in expressing their unique, wise, creative, fanciful, and hilarious ideas by themselves or with a friend. The ability to read helps but is not required. Recommended age 5 and up. An ukulele and snack are required. Scholarships: 1 per 7 paying

    Students will explore group painting and art through a fun, collaborative process. Guided by a local muralist, students will sketch ideas, learn basic painting techniques, and work together to create a shared artwork that reflects their school community. The class builds creativity, teamwork, and pride in contributing to a visible piece of art.
  • Omniform Martial Arts Academy

    Omniform is martial art that develops the mind, body and the character of the student. It's a blend of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing and Yoga. The intention of the training is to empower the student to consciously and deliberately develop his or her own unique power - a power of self-confidence, strength and leadership that attracts positive experiences around them. We welcome students with no martial arts experience as well as students with previous experience. Trained instructors use multicultural recipes and seasonal, locally sourced produce to illuminate the connection between where food comes from and how it is prepared. While exploring these topics, students will experience fresh flavors and ingredients first hand as they gain confidence expressing their creativity in the kitchen! By chopping, measuring, tasting, and mixing, your child will become more empowered and inspired by their relationship to food.
