Rube Goldberg Engineering Lab is a hands-on STEM enrichment class where students become inventors, engineers, and creative problem-solvers. Inspired by Rube Goldberg machines, students will design and build multi-step chain-reaction contraptions using everyday materials to complete simple tasks in imaginative and complex ways. Throughout the session, students will: Explore engineering and physics concepts such as force, motion, gravity, cause-and-effect, and simple machines Work collaboratively to brainstorm, test, revise, and improve their designs Strengthen critical thinking, creativity, and perseverance through real-world problem solving Practice communication and teamwork while building and testing their machines Each class emphasizes experimentation, iteration, and joyful learning—there is no single “right” answer. Students are encouraged to take risks, learn from mistakes, and celebrate creative solutions. Omniform is martial art that develops the mind, body and the character of the student. It's a blend of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing and Yoga. Our professional chef instructors guide kid chefs by providing safe, entertaining, hands-on learning throughout the class, but it’s the kid chefs who do the prepping and cooking! Our class sessions are a BLAST for all ages! When kids get to touch the ingredients and have a hand in creating their food, they’re much more willing to try new foods. We provide all of the tools, ingredients and instruction needed to cook up a delicious, healthy and hearty after-school snack each week.

Live from the Steck, it’s SKL! Do you have a creative kid at home who loves to act? SKL is a STEAM-based program where students learn what it takes to host their own Skit Kids Live show. Kids transform into sketch writers, actors, musicians, and set crew. Students work together to create a comedic episode with skits, commercials, and musical acts!
