Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to the students of Cory. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction to the modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals of fencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will provide lightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for young children first learning the sport. Come join us for this exciting form of physical and mental exercise! Dive into the culture and exploration of clay! Each student will create their unique imprint and how to connect with the magic of clay. Students will explore the power of hand-building with Red Rock Colorado Clay delving into many hand building techniques to form their very own creations from their imagination. Students can explore building forms independently, or build a creation led by the teacher. We will learn to use tools, make textures in the clay, and how to connect pieces together to build creations. Through imagination, students will develop their own personal style. Students will also paint their creations after they are fired. (Each student must bring a plastic bin with a lid to keep their creations damp throughout the week when they take the piece home.) The cost includes all materials and firing fees. 1 scholarship per 7 paid registrations

We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our incredibly fun and simple system for learning piano will have you rapidly playing the chords, melodies, and bass lines to all of your favorite modern songs whether from movies, pop artists, or other musical heroes. Nexplore Printmaking introduces young artists to this novel art form with engaging, hands-on lessons. Printmaking is the process of transferring an image from one surface to another, and this course surveys fundamental techniques like marbling and relief printing. Students create community gardens, seaside landscapes, and nature prints, learning to use different tools and materials. With each project, students will see immediate cause and effect as they create vibrant art pieces. Perfect for all ages, every student can find joy in trying different techniques with printmaking! 1 Full scholarship after 12 paid registrations

MBSB Martial Arts Session will teach the scholars proper strikes like punches, kicks, elbows, grappling throws, joint locks, chokes, pins, trapping, disarms and take downs.
