Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to thestudents of Cory. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what ittakes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction tothe modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals offencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will providelightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for youngchildren first learning the sport. Come join us for this exciting form ofphysical and mental exercise!

Join Chess Wizards for an interactive, scholastic program where kids will collaborate, gain confidence, improve chess skills, meet new friends, and work out their most powerful muscle – their brains! Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual game play.

Dive into the culture and exploration of clay with artist and educator Melissa Ivey Each student will create their own unique imprint and how to connect with the magic of clay. Students will explore the power of hand-building with Red Rock Colorado Clay delving into many hand building techniques to form their very own creations from their imagination. Students can explore building forms on their own, or build a creation led by the teacher. Through imagination and the honoring of the architecture of our ancestors, students will develop their own personal style. Students will also paint their creations after they are fired. The fees include the cost of all materials and firing. Students must bring a bin with a lid to take home their creations and keep them damp if they wish to build onto them each week.

Sculpt, paint and make crafts with award winning artists for teachers! We’ll sculpt animals, paint with watercolors, and make unique crafts & jewelry. Have fun creating art.
