  • Chess Wizards at Cory!

    We invite your child to join Chess Wizards, a fun and engaging after school enrichment program where learning meets play. Students build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and make new friends while exploring the game of chess. Designed for beginner to intermediate players, each session combines hands on instruction in strategy and tactics with exciting game play. The session ends with a lively in class mini tournament, complete with trophies and personalized scorecards that celebrate each student’s progress and growth.

    Full STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) encourages all ages to use critical thinking skills in a way that is challenging yet very approachable. This program is designed to incorporate the core STEAM concepts into a fun and exciting delivery sure to bring out the curiosity in every student. Do you like to see cool chemical reactions, build candy towers, design your own marble roller coaster, MAKE AND EAT ICE CREAM (weather permitting), make slime!, build egg parachutes, erupt model volcanoes, fashion bracelets, draw in 3 dimensions, sink clay boats and battle with robots?! Yes, then this class is for you! Extend the day in all the best ways possible with a journey to fun through Full STEAM!
  • POTTERY & HANDBUILDING: Form, Texture, & Tools!

    Get ready to squish, shape, and explore the world of clay! In this hands-on class, students will dive into the magic of clay while creating one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by their imagination. Using Colorado clay, children will learn a variety of hand-building techniques as they experiment with form, texture, and tools. Students may choose to follow their own creative ideas or take part in guided projects led by the teacher—there’s room for both independence and support. Along the way, they’ll learn how to connect each part they form, build strong sculptures, and express their unique style. After firing, students will have the option to paint their finished creations, bringing their artwork fully to life. To keep their creations safe and easily transported between home and school, each student must bring their own plastic bin with a lid. Investment includes all materials and firing fees.
  • Sound Formation Piano

    4 Levels of Curriculum for New and Returning Students. Our incredibly fun and simple system for learning piano will have you rapidly playing the chords, melodies, and bass lines to all of your favorite modern songs whether from movies, pop artists, or other musical heroes. This curriculum develops your core musical skills which will accelerate your musical feel, rhythm, and ability to understand music. Electric keyboards, headphones, and workbooks are provided.
  • Movement Madness ( Where Sports and Fitness is Fun! )

    Kids need to get moving and that is what we do at Movement Madness. Our classes are geared towards kids entering kindergarten up through 5th grade. We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our amazing instructors provide your child with encouragement to build self- esteem, movement to get and keep them healthy, fun games that teach sports skills, sportsmanship. Movement Madness is fun, filled with exercise and laughter with new and old friends. We run, jump, throw balls, kick balls, hit balls, catch balls and much more during an hour class! Games and activities change weekly and we provide an hour of non stop motion!
  • Nexplore Drawing Manga

    Explore and create your own manga! Students discover this unique Japanese art form that’s spread across the globe. Young artists take pencil to paper and learn the fundamentals that make manga so iconic like how to draw expressive faces and striking hairstyles. Even more, the instructor guides students through its history and cultural significance. As they develop their artistic skills, students add bodies, outfits, backgrounds, and dialogue to create their own characters and scenes. At the end of the course, students create and proudly showcase their own original manga story.
  • Little Fencers

    Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to the students of Cory. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction to the modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals of fencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will provide lightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for young children first learning the sport. Come join us for this exciting form of physical and mental exercise!
