Each week our instructor will lead young artists to create a new piece of artwork using process based art exploration that gives an opportunity for self expression, critical thinking, problem solving and FUN! -

Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual game play. -
Craftsman and Apprentice- Fun &Games
It's so much fun to make and play your own DIY games that you won't remember what a screen is for! Makers will spend their time designing and building their own games and toys. Projects include ladder toss, tabletop pinball, sling puck, and handheld games for those summer travels. We'll dedicate the last few sessions to an arcade challenge, where the kids design and build cardboard arcade games for their campmates to play! -
FULL STEAM
Full STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) encourages all ages to use critical thinking skills in a way that is challenging yet very approachable. This program is designed to incorporate the core STEAM concepts into a fun and exciting delivery sure to bring out the curiosity in every student. Do you like to see cool chemical reactions, build candy towers, design your own marble roller coaster, MAKE AND EAT ICE CREAM (weather permitting), make slime!, build egg parachutes, erupt model volcanoes, fashion bracelets, draw in 3 dimensions, sink clay boats and battle with robots?! Yes, then this class is for you! Extend the day in all the best ways possible with a journey to fun through Full STEAM! -
Introduction to Archery Shooting Course
The Colorado Archery Academy promotes instruction in international-style target archery as part of in-school curriculum, to improve educational performance and participation for students in grades 3rd-8th. Archery is an activity that doesn’t discriminate based on popularity, athletic skill, gender, size, or academic ability. All of our students receive a basic archery certification at the end our course and all courses are taught by a licensed archery instructor. -
KidStage- Wonka
Mr. Willy Wonka is the greatest chocolate maker the world has ever seen! He has invited 5 kids to come and tour his factory! Among them is the gluttonous Augustus Gloop, the gum chewing Violet Beauregard, the severely nasty Veruca Salt and a non-stop TV watching boy named Mike Teavee. The final child to find a golden ticket and win a tour of the factory is the kind-hearted Charlie Bucket! Come along on this hilarious journey complete with Oompa Loompas, Giant Squirrels and lots of "chocolate factory" technology. KidStage classes meet for 1.5 hours every Wednesday after school. Auditions for the show will take place during the second week of class, and every registered student will be guaranteed a role in the production! To ensure you receive all important class updates, including the cast list and script, please double-check that you provide a current email address during the registration process. Once the casting is finalized, we will email the cast list and a digital copy of the script to all families. Please note, you will be responsible for printing the script for their students to bring to each class. We will email a prop and suggested costume list, almost everything needed can usually be found among items you already have at home. Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to thestudents of Westerly Creek. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what ittakes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction tothe modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals offencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will providelightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for youngchildren first learning the sport. Come join us for this exciting form ofphysical and mental exercise! -
Movement Madness
Kids need to get moving and that is what we do at Movement Madness. Our classes are geared towards kids entering kindergarten up through 5th grade. We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our amazing instructors provide your child with encouragement to build self- esteem, movement to get and keep them healthy, fun games that teach sports skills, sportsmanship. Movement Madness is fun, filled with exercise and laughter with new and old friends. We run, jump, throw balls, kick balls, hit balls, catch balls and much more during an hour class! Games and activities change weekly and we provide an hour of non stop motion! -

RoboCoding with Nexplore gives students a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of both coding and robotics by challenging them to build and execute programs with real robots. Using award-winning Cubelets, students combine robotic cubes to craft machines that can light up, move, and interact with the world around them. Collaborating on coding activities reinforces life skills like teamwork and problem-solving, and completing challenges leaves students feeling confident and proud. -
Omniform-Martial Arts
Omniform is martial art that develops the mind, body and the character of the student. It's a blend of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing and Yoga. The intention of the training is to empower the student to consciously and deliberately develop his or her own unique power - a power of self-confidence, strength and leadership that attracts positive experiences around them. We welcome students with no martial arts experience as well as students with previous experience. Our professional chef instructors guide kid chefs by providing safe, entertaining, hands-on learning throughout the class, but it’s the kid chefs who do the prepping and cooking! Our class sessions are a BLAST for all ages! When kids get to touch the ingredients and have a hand in creating their food, they’re much more willing to try new foods. We provide all of the tools, ingredients and instruction needed to cook up a delicious, healthy and hearty after-school snack each week.
