Then this club is perfect for you!Craftsman & Apprentice After School Club (aka Club Craftsman) invites kids to dive into creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on exploration. Inspired by the Craftsman & Apprentice approach and our most beloved projects, this program provides a welcoming space where students use real tools and materials to bring their ideas to life. From woodworking and sewing to recycled art and toy building, each session introduces new techniques while encouraging experimentation and self-expression.Students will practice essential maker skills, including problem-solving, collaboration, design thinking, and resilience. Each week features a guided project, such as building things that move, crafting with natural materials, or inventing simple games. Children are also free to explore their own ideas, working independently or collaboratively with their peers.With a focus on process over perfection, the club helps students gain confidence, develop fine motor skills, and learn how to care for tools and materials responsibly. Reflection and sharing at the end of sessions enable kids to celebrate successes, troubleshoot challenges, and learn from each other.     Denver Fencing Foundation is excited to offer our Little Fencers class to thestudents of Westerly Creek. Participants will have the opportunity to learn what ittakes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction tothe modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals offencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will providelightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for youngchildren first learning the sport.   • KidStage Presents Oz

    Put on your ruby slippers because we're not in Kansas anymore! Dorothy and her beloved dog Toto find themselves journeying along the yellow brick road after meeting the Munchkins and Glenda the Good Witch upon their very dramatic arrival in Oz! On her journey to see the Wizard (and hopefully return home to Kansas) she meets the Scarecrow, the Lion, and the Tin Man who are all on quests of their own to get to the Wizard to fulfill their dreams. KidStage classes meet for 1.5 hours every Wednesday after school. Auditions for the show will take place during the second week of class, and every registered student will be guaranteed a role in the production! To ensure you receive all important class updates, including the cast list and script, please double-check that you provide a current email address during the registration process. Once the casting is finalized, we will email the cast list and a digital copy of the script to all families. Please note, you will be responsible for printing the script for your student to bring to each class. Students must commit to learning their lines and cues outside of class time.We will email a prop and suggested costume list, almost everything needed can usually be found among items you already have at home.     * Kids need to get moving and that is what we do at Movement Madness. Our classes are geared towards kids entering kindergarten up through 5th grade. We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our amazing instructors provide your child with encouragement to build self- esteem, movement to get and keep them healthy, fun games that teach sports skills, sportsmanship. Movement Madness is fun, filled with exercise and laughter with new and old friends. We run, jump, throw balls, kick balls, hit balls, catch balls and much more during an hour class!     Nexplore 3D Printing empowers students to bring their imaginations into reality with 3Doodler pens. Each lesson combines a structured STEAM project with wiggle room to doodle, explore, and create their own ideas. Students might construct landforms to learn about geography or use geometry to make their own shapeshifters. Nexplore 3D Printing Start+ transforms STEM concepts into 3D projects and sparks joy as students watch science come to life. 1 scholarship awarded once 12 students register
  • Omniform-Martial Arts

    Omniform is martial art that develops the mind, body and the character of the student. It's a blend of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing and Yoga. The intention of the training is to empower the student to consciously and deliberately develop his or her own unique power - a power of self-confidence, strength and leadership that attracts positive experiences around them. We welcome students with no martial arts experience as well as students with previous experience.
