Join Chess Wizards for an interactive, scholastic program where kids will collaborate, gain confidence, improve chess skills, meet new friends, and work out their most powerful muscle – their brains! Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual game play.
  • Craftsman & Apprentice- Fun and Games

    It's so much fun to make and play your own DIY games that you won't remember what a screen is for! Makers will spend their time designing and building their own games and toys. Projects include ladder toss, tabletop pinball, sling puck, and handheld games for those summer travels. We'll dedicate the last few sessions to an arcade challenge, where the kids design and build cardboard arcade games for their campmates to play!
  • Craftsman &Apprentice- Busy Busy Town

    We've often dreamed of life being like Richard Scary's Busy Busy Town with all the friends, jobs, things to do, and places to go. In this creative miniatures club, makers will work together to design a Busy Busy Town. They'll plan the whole town from top to bottom! We'll incorporate conversations about how communities function and how folks can work together to make their towns lovely places to live. Makers will use a wide variety of materials and techniques to craft characters, homes, fantastic transportation, and places to work.
  • KidStage- Hercules

    KidStage presents: HerculesTake a trip back to ancient Greece where mythical gods and fanciful goddesses rule over the lives of mortals. It was a time of legendary creatures and fearsome monsters. As the evil Hades plots to take over Olympus a young Hercules struggles to find out where he belongs. But with help from the beautiful Megara, the wood-nymph Echo and his devoted Pegasus, Hercules fights to make his dreams come true. This tale brings the classic myth to life and reminds us all of what it means to be a true hero. KidStage classes meet for 1.5 hours every Thursday after school. Auditions for the show will take place during the second week of class, and every registered student will be guaranteed a role in the production! To ensure you receive all important class updates, including the cast list and script, please double-check that you provide a current email address during the registration process. Once the casting is finalized, we will email the cast list and a digital copy of the script to all families. Please note, you will be responsible for printing the script for their students to bring to each class. We will email a prop and suggested costume list, almost everything needed can usually be found among items you already have at home. Final performance of Hercules- Thursday, November 13th at 5pm.     Kids need to get moving and that is what we do at Movement Madness. Our classes are geared towards kids entering kindergarten up through 5th grade. We provide a fun, exciting way for kids to stay fit and have fun in a non-competitive, encouraging environment. Our amazing instructors provide your child with encouragement to build self- esteem, movement to get and keep them healthy, fun games that teach sports skills, sportsmanship. Movement Madness is fun, filled with exercise and laughter with new and old friends. We run, jump, throw balls, kick balls, hit balls, catch balls and much more during an hour class! Games and activities change weekly and we provide an hour of non stop motion!

    Student-athletes will join the coaches after school, ready to play so we can max the soccer fun for each session. Soccer balls will be provided ("flat-soled" shoes and shin guards recommended, water, snack recommended, water bottle required). The program will focus on fun, beginner to intermediate level skills work, small-sided street soccer games and STEAM activities led by qualified guest partners, coaches and teachers. All activities are co-developed and facilitated by experienced player-coaches and teachers. Sessions may be played on multiple surfaces including blacktop, tile, hardwood and grass and may include age-appropriate music...

    4 Levels of Curriculum for New and Returning Students. Our incredibly fun and simple system for learning piano will have you rapidly playing the chords, melodies, and bass lines to all of your favorite modern songs whether from movies, pop artists, or other musical heroes. This curriculum develops your core musical skills which will accelerate your musical feel, rhythm, and ability to understand music. Electric keyboards, headphones, and workbooks are provided.
