Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in school-age children. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children. It's our passion to help kids build a healthy foundation for life. We want to support parents and teachers in their efforts through our programs! Sweet Ridge Studios teaches your child the foundations of art; color, line, shape, and form using engaging mixed media art projects. Projects for Winter session will include clay mosaics, winter penguins and the beautiful use of oil pastels to create snow people. Our programming is material rich and focuses on play and experimentation in the creative process. Our specially designed curriculum helps kids build skills, gain confidence, and fall in love with the game from day one. We use kid-friendly equipment and scaled-down courts, making it easier for young players to hold, swing, and connect with the ball. Through interactive games and easy-to-understand instruction, students learn the rules, strategies, and fundamentals of pickleball in a way that keeps them active and engaged. Through TOT students are exposed to fine and gross motor skill activities, academic concepts, higher-order thinking skills, and team building activities. Self-discipline and high expectations are a major part of the TOT program. Parents are amazed at all the skills and educational concepts students learn through the TOT curriculum.
